SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Sophomore Allison Jameson (Brattleboro, VT) scored two goals for the second straight game as Western New England College defeated visiting Castleton State College in its North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener.

Jameson scored twice in the first half to give the Golden Bears a lead 2-1 at intermission.

Junior Alyssa Katz (Cortlandt Manor, NY) added an insurance goal with 24:53 left in the contest. She has scored a goal in three straight games.

Sophomore Audrey Kelton (Wilder, VT) scored her first collegiate point with an assist on Jameson's first goal 5:03 into the contest.

Senior Adrienne Guay (Enfield, NH) and sophomore Stephanie Gildart (Portland, ME) also had assists.

Junior goalie Jillian Brown (Plymouth, NH) finished with eight saves for the Golden Bears who evened their record at 3-3.
