Western New England College can't find net in season ending loss at Plymouth State

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. - The Western New England College men's hockey team ended its season with a 8-0 loss at Plymouth State University Tuesday night in an ECAC Northeast contest.

WNEC had 27 shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net thanks to the solid work of goalie Karl Helgesson. The Golden Bears were 0-for-6 in power play attempts.

Plymouth State (15-8-1) led 2-0 after the first period and broke the game open with four goals in the middle stanza. The Panthers added two power goals in the third period.

Western New England College, which defeated Plymouth 7-2 on January 8, fnishes the campaign with a 4-16-3 record and 1-12-2 mark in the conference.
