WORCESTER, Mass. - For the third straight game, the Western New England College field hockey team couldn't find the net as WPI scored an early goal that stood up for a 1-0 victory Saturday (Sept. 9) in a non-match contest.

Sophomore forward Nicole Maglioni tallied the game winner only 5:55 into the game with an assist from Heather Haffett.

The Engineers out-shot the Golden Bears by a 15-3 margin.

Junior goalkeeper Emilie Donka (White River Junction, VT) made three saves for WNEC who fell to 0-3.
