AMHERST, Mass. – Amherst raced to an early lead and never looked back in posting a 5-0 victory over Western New England College in a non conference field hockey game Tuesday night (Oct. 2).

The Jeffs scored a pair of goals only 11:08 into the contest and took a 4-0 lead at half-time. Senior Molly Malloy (Stamford, CT) led the way with two goals.

Senior goalie Emilie Donka (White River Junction, VT) stopped 20 shots for the Golden Bears who fall to 2-9.
