WESTON, Mass. - Seven players scored goals as the Western New England College women's field hockey team posted a 7-0 victory over Regis Saturday afternoon (Oct. 17).

Junior forwards Tara Breslawski (North Babylon, NY) and Amy Hedberg (Guilford, CT) each tallied a goal and assist for the Golden Bears.

WNEC scored three goals in the opening half and four times in the second stanza.

Also finding the back of the net were senior Lauren Arsenault (Fitchburg, MA),  juniors Erin Griffin (Lowell, MA),  and Katy Vogl (Cazenovia, NY), sophomore Rebecca Squires (Merrimack, NH), and freshman Caitlin Foster (Hyde Park, NY).

Junior Kaela Jalbert (Turner, ME) and freshman Katie Clegg (Athol, MA) earned assists.

Western New England College improved to 4-11 after winning for the second time in its last three contests. The Golden Bears are 3-4 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

The Pride remain winless at 0-10 and 0-6 in the conference.
