Jess Paladino (Turner, ME) gave her team a 2-0 advantage on an unassisted goal with 9:50 remaining in the half.
Western New England College (4-14) cut the lead in half at the 28:14 mark courtesy of junior forward

That was the closest the Golden Bears would ever get as Fredlund quickly made it a two-goal deficit with 3:37 left in the half and led the rest of the way.
