DUDLEY, Mass. - The undefeated Nichols field hockey team blanked visiting Western New England College 5-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) action Saturday morning (Sept. 26).

Sophomore Lauren Correira (Seekonk, MA) scored the first goal at the 9:02 mark with an assist from her twin sister Chelsea Correira (Seekonk, MA) who added a second half-goal.

Sophomore goalie Krista-Jean Forand (Plymouth, MA) made three saves for her fourth shutout of the season.

The Bison, who led 3-0 at halftime, are now 9-0 overall and 3-0 in the league.

Sophomore goalie Lindsay Orzsulak (Longmeadow, MA) compiled 19 saves for Western New England College.

The Golden Bears drop to 1-9 and 1-2 in the league.
