SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England College men's soccer team lost to Gordon 3-1 in the semifinals of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Championship on Wednesday (Nov. 3) at Suprenant Field.
The Fighting Scots improve to 10-4-5 and will advance to the championship match on Saturday (Nov. 6) at 1:00 p.m.
The Golden Bears slip to 13-6-2 overall and will await word on a possible ECAC New England Championship bid.

Joel Spruance (Ledyard, CT) put the visitors ahead 2-0 in the 26th minute as he chipped the ball over junior goalkeeper
Sean Healey (Portland, CT). Daley received the assist on the play.
The Golden Bears cut the deficit to one just before the half when freshman forward
Ryan Williams (Brewster, NY) hit the back of the net at the 39:44 mark. Senior midfielder
Alex Dos Santos (Ludlow, MA) earned the assist after hustling to keep the ball in the WNEC end and then making a perfect pass to Williams.
Gordon sophomore forward
Travis Masters (Annapolis, MD) sealed the win in the 83rd minute as he headed home a cross from Spruance.

Alex Sosler (Willoughby, OH) made seven saves to pick up the win in net.
