SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman midfielder
Emily Sawchuk (Cumberland, ME) tallied a pair of goals to lead Endicott to a 3-0 win over Western New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contest on Tuesday (Oct. 25) evening at Golden Bear Stadium.
The Gulls improve to 9-8 with an 8-1 mark in conference; while the Golden Bears slip to 4-14 with a 2-6 CCC record.
Sawchuk opened the scoring at 12:55 as she tipped in a shot from the arc by junior forward
Melissa Enright (York Beach, ME) on a Gulls penalty corner.
The pair struck again just before the half to put Endicott up 2-0 as Sawchuck again got a stick on Enright's shot from the point.
Enright then added an unassisted insurance tally in the 61
st minute to seal the victory for the Gulls.

Jaynie Mueller (Colorado Springs, CO) ripped a shot that was well stopped by junior goalkeeper
Taylor Teixeira (Exeter, NH).
Endicott held a 14-6 advantage in shots; and took advantage of a 10-4 edge in penalty corners.
Teixeira turned away three shots to earn the shutout win in the cage.

Emily Mastrapaolo (Cazenovia, NY) made five saves on the evening.
The Golden Bears will host Nichols at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 27) in CCC play. The Gulls will travel to Nichols on Saturday (Oct. 29) at 12:00 p.m. to close out the regular season.
