Misha Beatty (Westwood, MA) added five goals and two assists to lead the Babson women's lacrosse team to a 17-7 victory over Western New England Thursday (Apr. 5) at MacDowell Field.
This was the fifth consecutive win for the Beavers who are now 6-2. The Golden Bears fall to 5-7.

Spang then scored the next three goals over the 10 minutes, 51 seconds, the last coming with 18:52 left in the half. Beatty followed with a goal nine second later as the hosts took a commanding 12-3 lead at intermission.
Junior attacker
Taylor Kralovenec (Cos Cob, CT) contributed four goals and an assist while senior attacker
Trisha Babson (Duxbury, MA) chipped-in with a goal, two assists, and eight draw controls.
Sophomore goalie
Julie Baharestani (Syosset, NY) compiled a career-high 10 saves.
McRoberts finished with three goals, five draw controls, and three ground balls while Toomy had two goals and an assist. Freshman midfielder
Jessica Scannapieco (Blue Bell, PA) also scored twice. Senior defender
Veronica Miano (Southington, CT) also picked-up three ground balls.
Freshman goalie
Emily Castleman (Wilbraham, MA) played the first half and had eight saves. Freshman
Melissa Perry (Somers, CT) stopped five shots in the second half.
Babson had a 44-19 advantage in shots and 16-10 edge in draw controls.
