SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--The Western New England University men's soccer team scored a goal in each half to knock off previously unbeaten Wentworth, 2-1, in Commonwealth Coast Conference action on Saturday at Suprenant Field. The Golden Bears--one of three teams tied atop the CCC with 2-0 records--improve to 3-4 overall, while the Leopards--who are rated sixth in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division III New England Region poll--fall to 6-1, 1-1.

Chad Burke sent a throw-in from the right wing to classmate
Luis Agrait, who collected the ball in the penalty area and buried a shot into the lower-left part of the net. The scoring play marked Agrait's first career goal at the collegiate level.
Wentworth knotted things up in the 13th minute when Noah Martins notched his second goal this fall. Michael Zendan received a short corner kick from Sam Martins, then Alberto Benhamu picked up another short pass from Zendan and he dished to Noah Martins who rifled a shot from about 18 yards out.
Western New England returns to action on Wednesday (4 p.m.) by stepping out of conference play against Wesleyan University.
