Kaczka Named to NFHCA Senior Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 20, 2025) – Western New England field hockey senior Haley Kaczka has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior Team, announced by the organization this afternoon.

The NFHCA has named 60 Division III senior student-athletes to the 2025 NFHCA Collegiate Senior Team. This honor celebrates their competitive excellence, leadership, and lasting influence within their programs. Selections are based on nominations submitted by NFHCA member coaches and reviewed by committees composed entirely of NFHCA coach members. Seniors are eligible for selection only once during their collegiate careers.

A native of Granby, Connecticut, Kaczka played in and made starts in all 74 games over her career in blue and gold, scoring 35 goals and adding 15 assists, picking up 85 career points, averaging over a point per game. Kaczka's senior season produced seven goals and six assists, good for 20 points, taking 50 shots, putting 29 on goal, and scoring the game-winning goal in a Conference of New England game against Nichols College. Kaczka's 85 career points sit eighth-most in a career in WNE Field Hockey history. The same can be said about her 1.14 points per game and 35 career goals. Kaczka also sits in seventh place in the career record books in goals per game and tied for fourth in game-winning goals (8). Kaczka led Western New England to conference semifinal appearances in all four seasons in blue and gold and amassed a 30-10 record over 40 games played on home turf.

Kaczka becomes the sixth Golden Bear to be named to the NFHCA Senior Team in program history.
