SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Playing its third game in four days, Western New England College stayed unbeaten in the North Atlantic Conference with an easy 6-0 victory over Wheelock College.
Sophomore Allison Jameson (Brattleboro, VT) led the Golden Bears' attack with three goals and an assist. She leads the team in scoring with 34 points (14 goals, 6 assists). Freshman Cori Eggert (Denville, NJ) added a goal and assist.
Junior Alyssa Katz (Cortlandt Manor, NY) scored a goal for the fourth straight game while freshman Suzanne Loutrel (Springfield, VT) had her first collegiate goal. Senior Adrienne Guay (Enfield, NH) and sophomore Monique Hammith (Westbrook, ME) also had assists.
Western New England College is 11-4 after winning its school-record sixth consecutive game. The Golden Bears are first in the conference with a 7-0 mark.
