MIDDLETOWN, Conn. â€" Chris Meade scored the game-winner with 1:14 remaining in the second overtime session to give Wesleyan University a hard-earned 7-6 victory over visiting Western New England College.

"This was a great game to watch, play, and coach," said WNEC coach John Klepacki. "As a young team, we gained some valuable experience against a quality opponent."

Senior Marco Le Gette (Severna Park, MD) scored two goals for the Golden Bears giving him 100 points for his career. Junior CJ Annunciata (Waltham, MA) added two assists.

Le Gette's second goal with 3:21 left in the fourth period gave WNEC (4-4) its only lead of the game at 6-5, but the Cardinals (6-1) came back to knot the contest with 1:52 remaining in regulation.
