SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Senior leftfielder Chris Mahoney (Yorkville, NY) and senior catcher Matt Hackney (Bristol, CT) each had two hits, including a triple, and three runs-batted-in to lead Western New England College to a 19-5 victory over Roger Williams University at Trelease Park.

Sophomore third baseman Josh Jacobs (Essex Junction, VT) and freshman designated hitter Travis Schwamb (West Springfield, MA) also collected two hits while senior centerfielder Jeff Maurutis (Milford, CT) had three RBI. Senior rightfielder Kyle Hackney (Bristol, CT) and senior shortstop Justin McGee (Wilbraham, MA) each scored three runs.

Sophomore Mike Richardson (Hanover, MA) pitched the first six innings to improve his record to 3-0.

Western New England College (14-4) hosts Suffolk University in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (April 13) at Trelease Park.
