SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Senior Suzanne Loutrel (Springfield, VT) scored a career high four goals as Western New England College breezed to a 9-1 victory over winless Wheelock College in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest.

Freshman Kelsey Field (Brattleboro, VT) contributed two goals and three assists while freshman Courtney Farrell (Hopedale, MA) added a goal and assist. It was the first collegiate points for both players.

Sophomore Brenna Fitzgerald (Manchester, NH) also had a goal and assist and freshman Justine McComb (Newington, CT) chipped in with a goal. Senior goalkeeper Melissa Ezold (York, ME) stopped three shots in her first start of the season.

Western New England College coach Sarah Kelly rested eight starters as her team rolled to a 4-0 half-time advantage. The Golden Bears improved their record to 10-7 overall and 6-1 in the conference.

Sophomore Jill Chaffee (Bridgewater, MA) scored the first conference goal of the season for the Wildcats (0-14, 0-7) in the second half.
