SANFORD, Fla. - Western New England College completed a successful visit to the Sunshine State and remained undefeated following an 18-7 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a non conference men's lacrosse game Wednesday.

Junior Adam Cherry (Westfield, MA) led the Golden Bears with five goals while senior Joe Cassani (Barre, VT) added three goals. Sophomore Bryan Cofrin (Londonderry, NH) contibuted two goals and two assists while classmate Mike Kelly (Cheshire, CT) had two goals and an assist. Sophomore Brody Savoie (Wilbraham, MA) chipped in with pair of goals.

Western New England College led 7-3 after the opening period and 9-5 at intermission. The Golden Bears broke the game open by outscoring the Red Hawks 5-1 in the third period and 4-1 in the final stanza to raise their record to 4-0. The Golden Bears have outscored their opponents by a 62-20 margin.
