SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Despite chilly and windy conditions, the Western New England College men's tennis team defeated visiting Eastern Nazarene 9-0 Wednesday afternoon (Apr. 2).

This was the second consecutive shutout for the Golden Bears who improved their record to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

Junior Mike Willhoft (Manchester, CT) won his #1 singles match in straight sets and teamed with classmate Jason Lee (Scarsdale, NY) to caoture their #3 doubles outing with an exciting 9-8 (7-1 tie-breaker) victory.
