The Golden Bears finished their busy week with a 7-2 mark over the past six days.
With its second doubleheader sweep in as many days, Western New England is now 17-6 and remains in first place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) with a 13-1 record. The Hawks fall to 9-13 and 5-3 in the conference.

The Hawks scored their only run in th sixth on a run-scoring double by freshman right-fielder

Jefferis came through with his top showing of the spring giving up six hits and an unearned run with two walks and four strikeouts. He evened his record at 3-3. Junior
Mike Lawlor (Windsor, CT) tossed two scoreless innings allowing just two hits for his third save of the season.
The Golden Bears again struck early for two runs in the first with Trubia knocking in a run with a single and later scoring on an error. The Hawks got within one with a run in the fourth before Western New England scored twice in the sixth on a BI single by senior center-fielder
Andrew Fatse (Hampden, MA) and a wild pitch.
