In the first Commonwealth Coast Conference contest for both teams, the Seahawks remain winless at 0-5 while the nationally No. 13-ranked Golden Bears even their record at 1-1.

Chad Hollenshade, Cam Brazill, Alex Flynn and James O'Brien scored for the Seahawks, who committed 35 turnovers. Curtis McKeon added a pair of assists and Jeffrey Brymer and Jacob Pantani contributed a helper each.
After scoring three times in the first quarter, Western New England began the second with four consecutive tallies en route to a commanding 10-2 advantage at halftime.
