DUDLEY, Mass. (September 18, 2021) – The Golden Bears women's tennis team continued conference play challenging Nichols earlier today and fell 9-0.
Records:
- Nichols College: 3-1, 2-0 CCC
- Western New England: 0-2, 0-2 CCC
How It Happened:
In doubles, Aliza McLeish and Arriana Hasluk competed in the number one doubles position and were defeated 8-1 while Janet Martinelli and Kaylin Gibbons competed at the number two and dropped 8-3. In the number three, Hailey MacDonald and Jennifer Arling lost 8-1.
All of the singles matches were dropped by the Golden Bears. Sydney Lewis held her own against Jordan Knowles only losing 6-4 and 6-3 for the closest loss for the Golden Bears in singles. Michelle McDermott had the same fate in singles at the number six falling 6-4 and 6-3.
