13 Golden Bears Honored On Conference of New England All-Conference Teams

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 19, 2025) – 13 members of the Western New England football team have been named to all-conference teams, released by the Conference of New England this afternoon, which sees three first-team honorees, six second-team honorees, and four third-team all-conference honorees. 

Wide receiver De'Andre Harris is named to the CNE All-Conference first team for the second straight season, producing personal and program records in his final season in blue and gold. Harris caught 52 passes this season, second most in the conference and tops amongst Golden Bears, going for 1,013 yards on the season, also second in the conference and the most on the team, grabbing ten total touchdowns for the season. Harris broke the Western New England Football all-time receiving yards record in his final career game last weekend in a 63-20 win over Nichols College, surpassing Steven Fedorchak '21 2,531 career yards, finishing his outstanding career with 2,694 total yards. Harris becomes the first Golden Bear to pick up over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season since 2019 and earned career highs in nearly every statistical category this season, including receptions (52), yards (1,013), touchdowns (10), receptions per game (5.2), average yards per catch (19.5), and average yards per game (101.3). 

Defensive Back Ben Caulfield earns his first all-conference nod of his career in 2025, being named to the first team. Caulfield, a native of Wethersfield, Connecticut, was assigned to the top wide receivers in the game and allowed minimal damage plays to the Golden Bears, leading the Western New England defense in the process. Caulfield opened the season with eight tackles, four solo and four assisted, in a ranked victory over Springfield College. The WNE junior picked up three interceptions for the season, all coming in conference play, and produced a pair of breakup passes on the season. Caulfield totaled 32 tackles through ten games played this season, 18 solo tackles, and 14 assisted tackles.

Linebacker Nick Kolifrath enters the all-conference first team for the first time in his career, leading the Western New England defense in tackles by a wide margin for the season, picking up 74 total tackles, which ranked fifth most in the conference. Kolifrath collected 28 solo tackles and 46 assisted tackles on the season while picking up 4.5 tackles for loss, forcing opponents back 18 yards, and picking up a solo sack in a CNE game against the University of New England. Kolifrath was in double-digits in tackles for time this season, three coming in CNE play. Kolifrath added one interception and three breakup passes this season to earn all-conference first team honors. 

The Western New England offensive line earned two spots on the all-conference team, including Collin LeBlanc at the guard position and Jackson Gertsacov at the offensive tackle position. The Golden Bear duo allowed the WNE offense to run as a unit, seeing the team run for 2,384 yards on the season, fourth most in the conference, while the team passed for 2,247 yards, also ranking fourth in the conference. The offensive line allowed the Golden Bears to be eighth in the nation in first down offense, 13th overall in red zone offense, 20th in rushing offense, and allowed the Golden Bears to control the clock on offense, averaging 32:56 time on the field per game, ranking first in the CNE and 21st overall in Division III. Both LeBlanc and Gertsacov earn honors for the first time in their respective careers, both on the all-conference second team. 

Defensive Back Johnny Ferrentino had a breakout season for the WNE defense this season, landing on the all-conference second team. Ferrentino recorded 52 tackles on the season, picking up at least one in all ten games played. The East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, native earned a career-high 14 tackles in conference play at the University of New England. In a non-conference road game, Ferrentino picked up a pair of interceptions at Salve Regina University and also added interceptions over New England College and Maine Maritime Academy, finishing the year with four total picks, leading the team and was second in the conference overall. Ferrentino also totaled one forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and three breakup passes on the year.

Defensive Lineman Nathaniel Mathis earns all-conference honors for the first time in his career, picking up honors on the all-conference second team. Mathis recorded 43 tackles for the season, six solo tackles, and 37 assisted tackles. Mathis recorded a team-high seven tackles for loss, dropping back opponents 27 yards on the year. Mathis picked up a pair of sacks for the season, coming at Curry College and in a home victory over New England College. Mathis ranks eighth in tackles for loss in the conference this season, while picking up career highs in every statistical category. 

Linebacker Ryan Clark has been named to the all-conference second team this season, the first time the WNE junior has been honored on all-conference teams. Clark picked up at least one tackle in every game this season, playing in all ten games, and making starts in every game. Clark picked up 20 solo tackles, ranking third on the team, and added 22 assisted tackles, good for 42 tackles on the season. Clark recorded 6.5 tackles for loss on the season for a loss of 18 yards. The Chelmsford, Massachusetts, native picked up an interception and a pair of quarterback hurries for the season.

Max LoGrasso has been named to the all-conference second team, playing an important role to the WNE Special Teams this season as the placekicker. LoGrasso made eight of nine field goal attempts for the season, hitting from 21, 23, 23, 27, 27, 28, 30, and 42 yards out for the season. LoGrasso was near automatic for the Golden Bears in extra point attempts, hitting 52 of 54 for the season, including a 10/10 effort against Maine Maritime Academy, tying the record for most extra points made in a single game by a placekicker in WNE football program history. LoGrasso also had 71 kickoffs for the season, kicking for 3,693 yards.

Running Back Matt LaMontagne had a historic season for the Golden Bears this season, picking up career highs in nearly every statistical category, being named to the CNE All-Conference third team. LaMontagne rushed 141 times on the season, gaining 840 yards, and scoring 16 touchdowns on the ground, the second most in the conference, and tops among Golden Bears. LaMontagne had at least one rushing touchdown in nine of Western New England's ten games this season and also caught two passes for 20 yards on the year. LaMontagne has recorded 1,784 yards of offense over his three seasons in blue and gold and averaged 84 yards per game this year. 

Tight End James Burg picks up all-conference honors for the first time in his career, coming away with third-team honors. Burg jumped onto the scene this season as WNE's starting tight end, playing in all ten games for the blue and gold, making ten starts. Burg caught eight passes, totaling 92 yards, and picked up a pair of touchdowns for the season. Burg's first touchdown of his career came at Curry College. 

Defensive Lineman Austin Pszczolkowski picks up honors on the all-conference third team following an outstanding senior season in blue and gold. Pszczolkowski recorded at least two tackles in all ten games played for the year, including a career-high ten tackles and a pair of sacks in the season finale last Saturday afternoon against Nichols College. Pszczolkowski picked up 16 solo tackles and 35 assisted tackles for the season, good for 51 tackles on the year, and picked up six tackles for loss, including four in the final three games this season. Pszczolkowski earned 2.5 sacks this season, pushing opponents back 21 yards, registering five quarterback hurries, and a pair of breakup passes. 

Return Specialist Isaiah Jolly has been named to the all-conference third team this season, following an impressive first season in blue and gold. Jolly was called upon at the midway point of the season to return kicks, attempting 12 on the season, rushing for 325 yards, and taking back a touchdown in a win over New England College, 55-0. Jolly averaged 27.1 yards per return and 46.4 yards per game. As a wideout, Jolly caught three passes for 24 yards on the year. 

Jaden Stilphen has been named to the Conference of New England Community Service Team, which highlights one student-athlete from each member institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community. Stilphen is a position captain for the Western New England football team, serving as the special team's captain. Stilphen has led community efforts inside and outside of WNE Football this season, helping grow youth football in Western Massachusetts. Stilphen is the second Golden Bear selected to receive the award. The honoree is picked and nominated by the team's head coach. Stilphen joins WNE's Bryan Kane '25 as the Western New England football community service team representative. 

The Golden Bears finished off their 2025 season last weekend, completing a 6-4 season, going 4-3 in Conference of New England play.
