Ainsley Napolitano concludes her 2025 season with her second Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Player of the Week award of the season.
In the final regular-season game of the year, Napolitano collected seven saves on eight shots, giving up just one goal to Johnson & Wales University, holding the Wildcats' high-powered offense at bay. Napolitano faced 13 shots in total last Tuesday night, leading to a 1-1 draw in the final game of the season for the Golden Bears.
The Andover, Massachusetts, native shined between the pipes in her first season in blue and gold, coming away with 91 total saves over 18 games played, making all 18 starts for WNE. Napolitano registered a 1.02 Goals Against Average (GAA) for the season and a 0.835% save percentage on the year. Napolitano played all but 30 minutes in goal for Western New England this season.
WNE women's soccer concluded its season with a 7-6-5 record, going 4-4-2 in CNE play during the season.
