SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (June 30, 2026) – 11 graduates of the Western New England men's lacrosse team have been named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic Team, as announced by the organization. The 11 student-athletes recognized for WNE are the most in a single season in program history.
In total, 298 student-athletes have been named to the team. Members of the teams are nominated by head coaches across Divisions I, II, and III. Those recognized are student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and on the field over the course of their men's lacrosse career. Nominees must have been a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for the team.

The Golden Bears captured the 2026 Conference of New England (CNE) Championship this past spring, finishing with a 13-7 overall record, including an 8-1 mark in CNE regular-season play.
