SCHENECTADY, N.Y. â€" Senior Marco Le Gette (Severna Park, MD) scored three goals, including the game winner with 4:04 left in the game, to lead Western New England College to a tgrilling 10-9 victory over Union College.

The win avenged a 13-8 loss to the Dutchmen last year at Golden Bear Stadium.

Freshman goalie Matt Pendelbury (North Hunterdon, NJ) was outstanding in the net compiling 20 saves. Freshman Adam Cherry (Westfield, MA) continued his fine play with two goals and an assist. while junior Pat Barone (Weymouth, MA) scored his first career goal in the first period.

The first three periods ended in ties of 2-2, 5-5, and 7-7.

This was the third one-goal contest in the last four games for the Golden Bears who improved their record to 6-4.
