WENHAM, Mass. - Senior CJ Annunciata (Waltham, MA) had a seven-point day with four goals and three assists to lead Western New England College to a 12-4 victory over Gordon College in a non-league contest Saturday.

The Golden Bears improved their record to 9-5 after winning for the third time in their last four outings.

Senior Patrick Matthews (Middle Island, NY) chipped in with three goals and an assist while junior Joe Cassani (Barre, VT) and freshman Bryan Cofrin (Londonderry, NH) each scored twice. Sophomore Adam Cherry (Westfield, MA) added a goal and three assists while junior Mark Bergey (Ambler, PA) notched an assist.

The score was tied 3-3 after the first period before the Golden Bears came back for a 7-4 half-time advantage.

Western New England College's defense took over holding the Fighting Scots scoreless in the third and fourth quarters. Sophomore Jason Whitehouse (Gilmsnton, NH) had six ground balls while Bergey and sophomore Jedd Brown (Kennebunk, ME) each picked-up five.
