SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's tennis team moved one step closer to a perfect season in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) with an 8-1 victory over visiting Emerson College Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 11). The Golden Bears got off to a strong start by winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
Coach Jenn Kolins watched her team raise its record to 10-1 after winning its 10th consecutive match.
Western New England College also remained unbeaten in the conference with a 7-0 mark entering Saturday's final league outing at Simmons.
