SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 4, 2025) – Western New England women's tennis sophomore
Malina Dinis has been named to the Conference of New England Women's Tennis Community Service Team for the second straight year.
Dinis, a native of Ludlow, Massachusetts, is named to the CNE Community Service Team, highlights one student-athlete per institution who demonstrates a commitment to their community. Each winner was nominated by their program's head coach. Dinis continues to work closely with a local golf tournament to raise money and scholarships for a local church. She also volunteers at community events in her hometown of Ludlow, which recently celebrated its 250th anniversary.
On the courts, Dinis collected three wins on the year in singles action, all coming in conference play. She also picked up three wins in doubles for the Golden Bears, being a member of the top doubles pairings all season long.
The Western New England women's tennis team collected a 3-9 record and 3-7 mark in CNE play this past fall season and will be back in action this coming spring for non-conference matches.
