BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. - Six players scored goals as the Western New England College men's lacrosse sailed past Massachusetts Maritime 11-6 Saturday to remain unbeaten in the Pilgrim League.

Sophomore Bryan Cofrin (Londonderry, NH) led the attack by scoring five goals while junior Adam Cherry (Westfield, MA) tallied twice as the Golden Bears jumped to a 9-1 half-time lead.

Junior Ryan LaChance (Brunswick, ME), sophomores Travis Brown (Montpelier, VT) and Nick Coppola (Old Brookville, NY), and freshman Scott Kukis (Sudbury, MA) had the other goals. Senior Joe Cassani (Barre, VT) contributed two assists.

Western New England College, ranked 18th nationally, improves its record to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in the Pilgrim League. The Golden Bears also have a six-game winning streak.
