Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Junior midfielder Ryan LaChance (Brunswick, ME) had three goals and two assists and freshman attack player David Teichman (North Andover, MA) added three goals and one assist as No. 18 Western New England College clinched the regular season Pilgrim League  title for the first time in four years with a 17-1 victory over visiting Norwich University Wednesday at Golden Bear Stadium.
The Golden Bears improved their record to 12-2 overall and 7-0 in the Pilgrim League entering their regular season finale Saturday with MIT.
Junior midfielder Rob Ostrem (Islip, NY) and freshman attacker Keith Radcliffe (Yorktown Heights, NY) each contributed two goals and an assist. Freshman attack player Dana Clancy (Kennebunk, ME) and freshman midfielder Chuck Cartelli (Yorktown Heights, NY) both tallied twice.
Western New England College coach John Klepacki gave his regulars the day off and all of the reserves had a chance to see considerable playing time.
Norwich (1-12, 0-7) averted a shutout when junior attack player C.J. Hamilton (Peacham, VT) tallied an unassisted goal with 3:57 remaining in the game. Freshman goalie Devin Collins (Richmond, VT) finished with 16 saves.
