SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's tennis team shutout visiting Wenworth Institute of Technology 9-0 Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 3) in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) match.

The victory gave the Golden Bears an overall record of 6-3, ehich includes a 5-2 mark in conference play.

Western New England College won every match in straight sets.

Senior Aimee Schapp (Torrington, CT) had the closest match overtaking her opponent at the No. 6 singles position 6-1, 6-4. She also won her number three doubles flight with classmate Kim Predella (Sturbridge, MA).

The Leopards fall to 1-9 overall and 1-7 in TCCC.
