DALLAS. Tex. - Nazareth (N.Y.) received 10 goals and eight assists from its attack unit of senior Mark DeCirce (Binghamton, NY), junior Joe Jacobs-Ferderbar (Orchard Park, NY), and sophomore C.J. Estes (Skaneateles, NY) in posting a 16-8 men's lacrosse victory over Western New England College Saturday (March 20) during the Patriot Cup Tournament at Ford Stadium on the Southern Methodist University campus.

The Flyers, ranked 13th nationally, improved their record to 4-1 while the Golden Bears drop to 3-3.

Nazareth took an early 4-0 lead just 5:42 into the contest before WNEC used goals by sophomore attacker Andrew Mariani (East Brunswick, NJ) and senior attacker Tim Santye (Skillman, NJ) to cut the margin to two after the opening period.

DeCirce netted two goals in the second period as Nazareth outscored Western New England College 6-1 to take a 10-3 advantage at the break.

DeCirce finished with four goals and three assists while Estes contributed four goals and two assists, and Jacobs-Ferderbar two goals and three assists. Junior midfielder Scott Castle (Skaneateles, NY) added three goals and an assist.

Sophomore midfielder Patrick White (Milton, MA) had a five-point performance for the Golden Bears with three goals and two assists. Mariani tallied a pair of goals with an assist while Santye also scored twice. Junior attacker Joe O'Keefe (Branford, CT) chipped-in with a goal and assist.

Senior goalie Todd Dermody (Selden, NY) compiled eight saves for Naz while sophomore Brewster Knowlton (Somers, CT) stopped nine shots for Western New England College.
