SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England men's lacrosse team cruised to a 15-1 victory over the University of New England in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) match-up on Saturday (Mar. 26) afternoon thanks to a balanced scoring attack led by four players with two goals each.

Senior attacker Joe O'Keefe (Branford, CT), senior midfielder Mike Santare (South Salem, NY), junior midfielder Patrick White (Milford, Conn.), and sophomore attacker Corrigan Harreys (Deep River, CT) each tallied a pair of goals to lead the Golden Bears.

Junior goalkeeper Brewster Knowlton (Somers, CT) stopped 12 of 13 shots on target to record the win in net.

Freshman midfielder Dan O'Gorman (Putnam Valley, NY) scored the Nor'easters' lone goal with a marker just before halftime.

Junior goalkeeper Nate Porter (Cohasset, MA) was credited with 11 stops in the loss.

Western New England returns to action on Monday (Mar. 28) when they travel to Medford, MA to face Tufts, who is currently ranked #1 in the country.
