ROCHESTER, N.Y.--The Nazareth and visiting Western New England non-conference men's lacrosse game started following a 30-minute weather delay on Sunday afternoon. But that didn't stop the nationally 14th-ranked Golden Bears as they scored four first quarter goals, including two man-up goals, to take the early lead on the way to doubling up the Golden Flyers, 12-6.
Following the loss, Nazareth slips to 4-3 overall. Western New England improves to 3-2 overall with the victory. In the all-time series, Western New England leads 4-3 and is 3-0 in games at Nazareth.

Corbett Corrigan Harreys led all scorers with four goals for the Golden Bears, who won the ground ball battle, 34 to 29, and outshot Nazareth 42 to 36.
Jack Liacos of Western New England led all players with eight ground balls and had three caused turnovers.
Collin Clark finished with two goals for the Golden Flyers.
