WINTER HAVEN, Fla.--Ramapo scored the game-winning run on an error in the top of the 10th inning to earn a come-from-behind 7-6 non-conference victory Wednesday over Western New England in a matchup of NCAA Division III Top 25-ranked baseball powers at Chain of Lakes Stadium. The Roadrunners (No. 13 D3baseball.com/"RV" ABCA-Collegiate Baseball Newspaper) improve to 7-1 on the season while the Golden Bears (No. 12 D3b/No. 16 ABCA-CBN) fall to 6-3, with all three losses coming by one run in extra innings.

Steve Ambrosino had three and two hits, respectively, for Western New England, which had 11 as a team compared to 10 for Ramapo. Senior
Mike Rubino also had a pair of hits for the Golden Bears.
For Ramapo, Christian Spurr went 3-for-5 with a run batted in and a run scored, and Chris Werr had two hits with two RBI.
The Roadrunners' Joe Venturino scored an unearned run from third base on an error committed by the shortstop that would have ended the 10th inning for the designated visitors.

Western New England forced extra baseball with two runs in the eighth, erasing a 6-4 deficit. Anthonis had a RBI-single and Schult scored, unearned, on a passed ball.
The Golden Bears held leads of 2-0 after the first, 3-1 after the second inning and 4-3 after the sixth.
