James Reardon paced the Western New England offense with five points on three goals and two assists, but host Tufts outscored the Golden Bears 10 to 6 in the second half to pull away for a 20-14 non-conference victory in Top-20 men's lacrosse action on Sunday. The No. 9-ranked Jumbos improve to 4-2 on the season, while No. 15 Western New England levels off to 3-3.

Tufts' Beau Wood led all scorers with six points on three goals and three assists, followed by Chris Schoenhut with four goals, Andrew Fiamengo and Dan Leventhal had a hat trick apiece.

Leventhal scored twice during a 3-0 run as Tufts never trailed again, going up 4-2 with 3:26 to go in the first quarter.
Tufts eventually went up 7-4 in the first half before Western New England tied it 8-all on a goal by Lawton who was fed by Reardon at the 3:51 mark of the second.
The Jumbos took a 10-8 lead into the intermission.
Tufts also scored the first five goals of the second half to take control of the game, 15-8 at 7:00 in the third quarter, as Western New England couldn't get closer than five the rest of the way.

Jesse DeLucca (18-of-37) led the Golden Bears with seven apiece, while Kane Delaney matched that total to top Tufts.
Tufts outshot Western New England 49 to 45, including 30-29 on the cage.
