SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--On the final day of the regular season, the Western New England University women's tennis team clinched the final spot and sixth seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship Tournament with a thrilling 5-4 victory Sunday over visiting Wentworth at the Volvo Outdoor Courts. "Today's win was a culmination of work done both on and off the court this season," Western New England coach Jennifer Kolins said after the match. "This was the biggest win of our season, coming in the last match (before the postseason), which shows the focus that our players have sustained to reach the greatness that they have set to achieve."
