SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 2, 2026) – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced their March 2nd Athletes of the Week for Men's and Women's Lacrosse. Logan Proctor finds himself named to the list of award-winners after a top-notch performance this past week.
Proctor shined for the Golden Bears last week, especially in their 10-7 victory versus Keene State College on Thursday. The high-quality performance was a major reason that Proctor was named the conference's Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week. The first-year attackman from Lake Tapps, Washington, recorded his first goal of the season at home versus the Owls in the first quarter of that contest. Proctor would not stop there, though. He would tally three more goals after that, including two in the fourth, which sealed WNE's win versus KSC. That would mark Proctor's first career Golden Bear hat trick and four total goals in the game. Proctor had an .800 shooting percentage, and when shooting on goal, hit the back of the net every time with pinpoint accuracy. Proctor was asked about his performance after the game and noted that, "It means a lot to me to get my first four here and especially the first one here, but I couldn't have done it without the guys because they fed me the ball, they gave me it, and then I just capitalized on the opportunities they gave me."
Proctor and WNE will travel to Babson College for their next contest on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
