Mia Dodge have picked up Golden Bear Athlete of the Week honors after standout performances this past week.
Jacob Roy opened the week by picking up three assists in a win over Keene State College, helping the Golden Bears come away with their first win of the season. Roy took six shots, putting two on goal in the win, and had a ground ball pick up for the Golden Bears. Roy then came away with six points in a defeat to MIT on home field this past weekend, scoring three times while picking up three assists. Overall, Roy took 11 shots in the game, picking up seven shots on goal. The senior totaled nine points for the week, taking 17 shots overall.
Mia Dodge picked up multiple personal bests for the Golden Bears at Sunday's Billy Brockmueller Invitational in her second event of the season. Dodge began the day in the 60m hurdles, taking second place overall, racing in 10.45 seconds. Dodge then took fifth place in the 400m run, coming in at 1:07.77. Dodge also helped the Golden Bears to a pair of top-two finishes in relay events. Dodge and the Golden Bears took second in the 4x200 relay event, coming in with a time of 1:52.50. Dodge took the top spot in the 4x400m race, finishing in 4:26.88.
Western New England men's lacrosse hits the road for its first contest away from Golden Bear Stadium of the year, heading to Babson College on Saturday, March 7, at 1:00 PM. WNE outdoor track and field continues its 2026 season with a meet at Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 21.
