Western New England University

In a program full of distinguished performers, Chuck Africano stands among the best in Western New England history. The Enfield, Connecticut native compiled a 60-9-1 record (86.4%) in dual meets during his career, including a perfect 19-0 mark his senior season. He finished his outstanding career with a 98-22-1 ledger (81.4%). Chuck participated in three NCAA Division III Championships posting a 3-3 in national competition. He was a three-time All-New England place winner and 167-pound champion his senior year. Chuck was selected to the All-Division New England College All-Star Team and was the New England All-Star meet champion his final year. With Chuck helping to lead the way, Western New England posted a 69-24-1 record (73.9%) during his time on the mat.
