Marvin Langley ’03 was one of the top running backs in the Northeast during his spectacular career at Western New England College. He established numerous school records, among them career yards rushing (3,401 yards) and scoring (41 touchdowns for 246 points). A two-year captain, Marvin enjoyed five 100-yard games rushing his senior year and had three straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons, including a school best 1,253 yards in 2000. He ran for 296 yards and four touchdowns against Framingham State in 2000, the year he was named the New England Football Conference (NEFC) Co-Offensive Player-of-the-Year. The Lewiston, Maine native also compiled 5,053 career all-purpose yards. Marvin twice was voted to the ECAC Division III Northeast, NEFC, and New England Football Writers’ Division II/III All-Star Teams. He played lacrosse for the first time his senior year and helped the Golden Bears’ reach their first NCAA Division III Tournament. Marvin also was the Western New England College Coca-Cola Male Athlete-of-the-Year for the 2001-02 school year. He owns a computer business Maine I.T. in Lewiston. Marvin and his wifeMjae are the proud parents of four children, Cade (5), Cohven (4), Crew (2), and Caisyn (9 months).
