Kara Acken '03 was an outstanding student-athlete for the Golden Bears field hockey program from 1999-2002. Acken holds career records for the Golden Bears program, including career points, career assists, points per game, goals per game, and assists per game. Acken's exceptional career remains in the WNE field hockey single-season record book, where the 2003 graduate sits 11th in single-season goals per game, second in single-season assists (2001), and tied for third in single-season assists in 2002. Acken's 0.74 assists per game in 2001 marks second best in single-season program history, while her 0.47 assists per game in 2000 are tied for sixth best all-time in a season.
