Ryan Nolan '97 ranks among the all-time greats in the history of Western New England College men’s lacrosse. He was the Pilgrim League Player-of-the-Year in 1996 after helping the Golden Bears capture its first tournament crown. Western New England College finished with a 13-4 record that season, which established a school record for wins. Ryan played a midfield position and led the Golden Bears in scoring his last three seasons, finishing with a school record 218 points (132 goals, 86 assists). The South Hadley, Massachusetts native was a four-year All-Pilgrim League performer (three-time First-Team selection) and twice an All-New England performer. In addition, Ryan served as a team captain for two seasons and played in the East-West Senior All-Star Game.
