Rodney Butler, a resident of New Britain, Connecticut, is the most prolific scorer and rebounder in school history, averaging 29.3 points and 19.1 rebounds during his remarkable three-year career. He is third on the schoolÕs all-time scoring list (1,725 points) and is the only Golden Bears player to pull down more than 1,000 rebounds (1,127). Rodney holds the Western New England College single-game record for points (53) and rebounds (30), and is the program's all-time leader in field-goal percentage (61.9). He serves as the director of financial aid and veteran affairs at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, Connecticut. Rodney is a 1965 graduate of George Washington High School in New York City.
