Jacquelyn (Jaquie) Bailey, a standout striker for the women's soccer team from 1999-2002, was one of the most consistent and prolific scorers for the Golden Bears during her four seasons in blue and gold. A three-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion, Bailey was also named to the GNAC All-Conference First Team in 2001 and Second Team in 2002.

Bailey helped lead Western New England to a combined 57-31-3 overall record during her four seasons, playing in 88 of those 91 games. The Easthampton, Massachusetts, native began her career as a Golden Bear by helping to lead the women's soccer program to the top spot in the GNAC, collecting a 14-8-1 overall record, including an 8-2 mark in GNAC play that helped the Golden Bears claim the GNAC women's soccer title. Bailey recorded six goals and three assists during her first year with the Golden Bears, good for 15 points. Following a solid freshman year, Bailey tallied seven more goals to her name for the Golden Bears during her sophomore season, a season in which the Golden Bears recorded a 13-8-1 record and an 8-1-1 mark in GNAC play.

As a junior, Bailey helped lead the Golden Bears to another conference title, their second in three seasons. Bailey went on to score four goals while adding four assists during her third year as a Golden Bear, as WNE recorded a 9-1 GNAC play record while winning 14 games overall. Bailey would earn GNAC First Team All-Conference honors during her junior campaign while also being named to the GNAC Academic All-District Team.

Bailey capped off her prolific four-year playing career with an impressive senior season, collecting career highs in goals, assists, and points.  Once again, Bailey led the way to Western New England's third GNAC championship over her four-year career. Bailey recorded seven goals and 12 assists during her final season, being named to the All-GNAC Team for the second season in a row while also adding 2002 Academic All-American honors to her resume. Bailey ended her career in 2002, finishing in the top ten in program history in both goals scored and assists.
